Operated exclusively by our team, Chalet Bivouac is a traditional Savoyarde-style catered chalet set over three floors, just 40 metres from the piste in Val d’Isère’s idyllic old village.


It features a sauna, outdoor hot tub, crackling fire and five ensuite bedrooms — the perfect base for exploring legendary slopes and enjoying Val d’Isère’s vibrant après scene.


Chalet Bivouac offers five spacious twin/double ensuite bedrooms, comfortably sleeping 10 guests. Three of the bedrooms include mezzanine levels, offering flexible additional sleeping for up to five more guests — ideal for families with children or mixed-age groups. For adult-only groups, we recommend a maximum of 12–13 guests for optimum comfort.


After a day on the slopes, unwind in the private outdoor sauna, soak in the bubbling hot tub, or gather beside the roaring fire in the cosy open-plan living room for drinks and canapés before dinner.


Located just 40 metres from the piste, with easy access to ski lifts and ski school, Chalet Bivouac also benefits from a prime resort centre location — placing you within a short walk of Val d’Isère’s renowned restaurants, boutique shops and lively bars.

In our catered chalets, we really do pride ourselves on the quality of our food and catering. We love food. We are all very much foodies here at Buildmyskitrip.com. That is why our entire ethos for the chalets is based upon the idea of a generous and indulgent menu, with freshly prepared, devilishly moreish, great food (and drink of course). Everything is cooked fresh in the chalets every day, by your very own dedicated and friendly chalet team.


To us, it is quite simple. We want our customers to be excited at the thought of coming back to the chalet each day. Eagerly looking forward to a sumptuous, yummy cake by the fire, delectable wine that makes it completely acceptable to drink 7 nights in a row (you are on holiday after all) and most importantly, a mouth-watering, generous and indulgent meal that is hopefully one of those meals where you think “wow, I can’t stop putting this in my mouth”. A great catered chalet is both great accommodation and great food.

Included in our prices is our exclusive 6-day catering service with your own private chef and chalet hosts. 


Please Note: The price displayed on our website covers accommodation and catering for 12 people.

  • Enjoy a hearty-cooked breakfast for 5 days and a continental breakfast on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
  • Return to afternoon treats: freshly baked cakes or biscuits, a selection of breads & jams, and a range of teas & coffees.
  • 4-course evening meals (6 days a week) - Canapes, starter, main course, dessert. 
  • A specially curated children's menu with varied mains and desserts.
  • Bottled wine with your evening meal from our curated white, red, and rosé selection.

Daily Housekeeping:

Chalet Bivouac is brilliantly located in the old village of Val d'Isere, right in the centre of resort and located just behind the main square and piste. The chalet is just a 2 minute walk to the piste and lifts as well as all resort amenities such as bars and restaurants. In terms of location, Chalet Bivouac could not be better.
