Chalet Melodie

Chalet Melodie is a real crowd pleaser right in the middle of Morzine. It is located just a minutes walk from the nearest super-market and and sleeps 13 people in 6 ensuite bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are well proportioned and the living space will be light and spacious. It has it's own outdoor hot-tub & cinema room and is located right next to Chalet Harmonie and can be rented together to give you 11 bedrooms of co-located living space.

Located in the very heart of Morzine, Chalet Melodie oozes style. Built at the same time as its sister chalet, Harmonie, this brand new chalet is modern, sophisticated, and unbelievably comfortable. Its interior design is minimalist and chic. Bold velvet sofas stand out against dark matt kitchens; large, airy windows highlight the modest but elegant use of furniture. Its crisp, bold features are Scandinavian in feel, but the distinctive wooden architecture is undeniably Alpine in flavour.

With 6 large, ensuite bedrooms spread across three floors, Melodie feels spacious and private. High ceilings and huge windows give the sense of freedom – to stretch, to laugh, to breathe in the mountain air and soak up the stunning views of nature and Morzine itself.

Each bedroom is modestly furnished, with every element considered – offering mindful spaces in which you can relax, re-charge and reconnect after a long day on the mountain. Modern industrial style bathrooms add a wonderfully contemporary feel, whilst wooden walls and architecture keep the rooms grounded in Alpine comfort.

The living area is bold and luxurious. Plush, velvet sofas create a delightfully contrasting colour palette to the muted tones of the wooden walls, thick stone curtains, and dark, matt kitchen. Sit around the fire with whisky on the rocks or rustle up culinary magic in the fully-equipped kitchen.

Outside, sink into the hot tub with a cool glass of fizz, and admire the magnificent views of Morzine and the mountains beyond. The outside area also has a large dining table and BBQ. You can find a boulangerie, butcher, deli and speciality wine shop in town, or the supermarket is 50m away from your doorstep, so there is no excuse to miss out on a classic summer BBQ, Savoyard style. Although centrally located, Melodie is nestled in a cluster of private residences, so you can leave the hustle and bustle of the slopes and town behind you, and relax in peace.

On those rare days when the sun isn't shining, snuggle up together with some popcorn and enjoy the fantastic cinema room. With plush sofas, surround sound and a screen that spans the entire wall, you won't even notice the rain.

And if it couldn't be any better, sustainability and the environment are at the heart of design of this chalet. Ground-source heating keeps it warm and cosy on even the coldest of winter evenings; low-emission LED lights create ambient lighting throughout the entire chalet; even the beautiful slate which clads the outside of this spectacular building has been reclaimed from discarded sources.
